I recently had a few friends over and I made this easy cantaloupe and prosciutto appetizer. Even though these small bites were so easy to make, they seemed to really impress guests.
The combination of cantaloupe, prosciutto, and the herb spread packed big flavor into a small bite!
Since the point of our girls' night was to just chat and catch up, I didn't want to fuss over the food. This recipe was super simple to make before they arrived.
And although they were really easy to make, they were very flavorful. Proof, that it doesn't need to be fussy to be impressive (more easy party food ideas here). These cantaloupe and prosciutto appetizers were a huge hit.

This appetizer works so well (it's actually an ancient combination) because the cantaloupe has a juicy, subtly sweet flavor that pairs so well with the saltiness of the prosciutto. The added creaminess of the herb cream cheese brings it all together.
Plus, serving this up on a sturdy cracker makes it easy to pass this appetizer around on a tray. Easy to eat is always a plus when entertaining!
