Supplies You Will Need to Wrap Gift Card
- Toilet paper roll (or a paper towel roll cut into half
- Tissue paper (any color or pattern you like)
- Ribbon, twine, yarn, or string
- A gift tag that has a hole punch
Once you have your supplies gathered and a gift card, you're ready to start wrapping.
How to Wrap Gift Cards in 5 Easy Steps
- Insert gift card into your toilet paper roll
- Roll up the toilet paper roll in 2-3 sheets of tissue paper
- Twist ends and tie with a ribbon or string
- Cut off excess tissue paper on the ends if desired
- Add a gift tag
If it's the holiday season, you can make these using Christmas colored tissue paper and add themed tags. They look really cute under the Christmas tree!
This simple gift card wrapping idea also works for wrapping money!
Tip: If you find yourself going to a lot of birthday or graduation parties, you can premake these (just select a gift card that everyone would like) and have these ready to go. Before the party simple add the recipient's name to the gift tag.
