Spicy Fresh Pineapple Margarita
This margarita recipe if full of flavor! It includes fresh pineapple juice and a bit of heat.

Fresh lime juice

Cointreau

Tequila

Fresh pineapple juice

For garnish
Instructions
Fresh Pineaple Juice
Add about 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks to blender or food processer and blend until smooth
Strain blended pineapple into a glass or jar using a mesh strainer; Discarding the pulp
Chili Salt for Rimming
Combine sea salt and chili powder on a small plate
Rub lime wedge around rim of glass and then roll in the salt mixture
To Make Margaritas
In glass, muddle the lime juice and the fresh jalapeño slices
Add ice to glass
In a shaker filled with ice, add Cointreau, Tequila and Pineapple Juice. Shake.
Strain shaker into glass
Top with sparkling water
Garnish with pineapple wedge, lime wheel, and slice of jalapeño
Notes
You can substitute Cointreau for any orange liqueur. Examples include: Grand Marnier, Triple Sec and Orange Curaçao
If you don't like spicy, simply omit the jalapeños
You do not have to salt the rim
You can use store bought pineapple juice but the flavor won't taste as crisp and fresh
