Hot Honey Fries
Delicious sage french fries drizzled in an easy hot honey recipe

Ingredients

Frozen French Fries

small bunch
fresh sage
1
teaspoon
paprika

sea salt

cup
raw honey

dried red chili peppers
I used arbol chilies (next time I would add 10 for more heat)

tbs
apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Roughly chop the dried peppers
Combine honey and chopped peppers into a small saucepan
Simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes to allow heat to build
Remove honey from heat and stir in 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
Strain the honey into a jar to separate from peppers and seeds. Set aside
Bake the fries in oven with a few torn pieces of sage on top
Once crispy, remove fries from oven and top with fresh sage leaves, paprika, and sea salt
Generously drizzle hot honey over the fries. Reserve some in a small bowl for dipping
Enjoy immediately
Notes
If you'd like to make your Hot Honey spicier, simply add more chilies when you're cooking.
