It's been a few years since I've planned a wedding and I have to tell you, it feels wonderful to be at it again. There is nothing better than helping a bride create that perfect day where she will be surrounded by all the people and pretty things she loves. This bride is extra special since she is my sister-in-law (YAY!). I'm obsessed with the color pallette she's chosen. We're planning to bring the whole thing to life with ivory, blush and champagne wedding colors.
UPDATE: You can see the full wedding post here!
The colors that the bride has chosen (mainly blush and champagne) just scream romance. Don't you think?
The save the dates were AMAZINGLY perfect. From the blush and champagne colors to the photo to the romantic detail in the hand-drawn frame, oh my goodness. They were perfect! The couple had a STUNNING engagement session with Tracy Dodson Photography (check out all of their engagement photos here).
The save the dates were costumed designed by my go-to gal, Kori of Paper and Pigtails. I love how she paired the modern bold outside frame with the delicate (hand-drawn!) romantic inside frame. Simply stunning.
While at my favorite farmers' market this weekend, I picked up some gorgeous blooms from my favorite flower grower (Alfredo of Hidalgo Flowers) for a little eye candy to have at my desk this week. This couple, upcoming wedding, and the color palette just make me so happy.
I've used this vendor for many of my event flower needs (like this boho party, this romantic bridal shower and this book themed baby shower).
On the agenda this week: Cake tasting with our friends at Jodee's Bakery and another wedding site visit to play around with linens at the stunning Gershon Bachus Vinyards.
There is bound to be more wedding posts in the next 3 months so HOLD ON TIGHT!
How To Incorporate Blush and Champagne Colors Into A Wedding
We're early in the wedding design and planning process but here is how we're thinking of using the blush and champagne color throughout the wedding:
- Invitation and Stationery design
- Bridesmaids' dresses will be a shade of champagne
- Junior bridesmaids' dresses will be blush
- Flower girl dresses will be cream with blush accent
- Table linens will be champagne with ivory napkins
- Florals will be a mix of creams and blush colors
- Paper parasols in a blush color

I have attended a few of Tori's hosted parties and I have to say, I always walk away in ahhhhhhhh, BUT the bridal shower for Court I have to say was so beautiful, unique and the nicest I have been to. Every guest's tastes were met through drink and food. You have a great gift girl, you have out done yourself as always. The decor and every little detail were in place and you seemed so stress free, I want to have that nack when hosting a party!! Keep it up Tori. Suz
