The evenings here have been just perfect, not too hot or chilly and just right for a little outdoor entertaining. We've been gathering a few new pieces for the patio and finally got together with a few friends for a salads and sips early evening gathering.
I love keeping things super simple when entertaining, especially in the summertime and keeping the menu light and simple makes party prep extremely low key.
Our backyard garden is in full swing so I picked some greens and tomoatoes and let them shine in a simple salad.
To keep guests cool I whipped up a batch of lemonade slush (perfect for a warm evening). Just combine your favorite lemonade with ice in a blender. Pour in glass and top with lemon wedge and fresh mint leaves.
Since this was the first gathering we've had with close friends this summer, we decided to make our summer bucket list. We each wrote down something we wanted to do as a group this summer. Such a fun conversation starter!
Our fantastic dinner party playlist was the perfect background music for this low-key evening. We had such a relaxing time, eating and drinking and making fun summer plans.
What's on your summer bucket-list? Any outdoor entertaining in your plans?
