Planning a bridal shower or looking for spring wedding ideas? I've gathered up 5 ideas from past parties and weddings to help inspire your planning. Spring has so much to offer for a wedding. From gorgeous in season flowers, to fresh fruits, and of course that stunning sunlight and warmer temps It really is the perfect season for your bridal shower or wedding. Here are a few ways you can make it extra special.
1. Set up a mimosa station. I love this idea because it looks great and guests can serve themselves. This takes a ton of pressure of of having a hostess do the duties or the cost of hiring a bartender. Setting up a mimosa station makes for a more relaxed vibe which guests typically appreciate. Perfect for a bridal shower or day time wedding.
2. Set out yard games. You're going to be busy taking photos after your ceremony and yard games are the perfect way to keep guests entertained during cocktail hour. The yard games at this wedding I planned were a huge hit. Check them out, here.

3. Overuse fresh flowers. Honestly, I don't think you can technically overuse fresh flowers but what I mean is, use them everywhere! As centerpieces, small vases in the restroom and on the bar top, and even single blooms to accent just about everything else. Put them in your hair, on your getaway car . . . you get the idea. Spring is the time to pull out all the stops with the gorgeous blooms of the season. Above: They are on our "Love punch" table as a simple decoration. See it here.
4. Allow your backdrop to "wow." If your spring wedding is outdoors you might want to consider down playing your color palette in order for your environment to really take center stage. You should choose a color pallete that compliments the colors in your space. In this spring brunch (above) the all white flowers and tablescape really allowed the green field to pop. See it here.
5. Serve fresh flavors. There are so many things to love about springtime, including the flavors. When planning your bridal shower or spring wedding menu, think about incorporating in season, fresh, and light flavors. These watermelon, feta, blackberry, and basil skewers are a good place to start. They were SO good.
