Pumpkin Pie Martini

If you're looking for creative Thanksgiving cocktails to serve, this is it! Let me warn you though, this pumpkin pie martini tastes even better than it sounds. It's just the perfect glass of fall.

There is something so gorgeous about a dessert in glass. A tasty liquid form of a traditional sweet treat. It's an elegant way to have your dessert, isn't it?

This pumpkin pie martini recipe looks as good as it tastes. It makes the perfect Thanksgiving cocktail to serve with appetizers and it also works as a unique dessert cocktail to serve after your main course. Did you know 7 out of 10 adults prefer drinkable desserts? I totally get that.

I love that you can pre-make this recipe the night before you entertain (I made and stored it in my mason jar cocktail shaker in the fridge). When it's time to serve, simply shake it up with ice and decide between full sized martini glasses or, my personal favorite, these mini martini glasses.

Ingredients for Your Pumpkin Pie Martini

You can see the full recipe (and print it) below, but here's a run down of the items you'll need to gather to make this pumpkin pie martini:

  • Whipped cream vodka
  • Pumpkin puree
  • Simple syrup
  • Vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Heavy cream more if you want your drink thinner
  • Cinnamon stick

Serve these to your best friends and make them happy. I recently served these at a Thanksgiving pie party and they were a huge hit! This is a great Thanksgiving martini and overall fall cocktail.

Tips for Making This Pumpkin Martini Recipe

  • The recipe for these pumpkin pie martinis calls for pumpkin puree but you could use pumpkin pie mix in the can (if you do just omit the fresh cinnamon and nutmeg since the mix will already have those spices)
  • You can prep this ahead of time, just be sure to keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve
  • If you want to be really extra, add some whipped cream to the top of this for a fun dessert presentation

Whenever, however you serve these Thanksgiving cocktails, there will be smiles all around. And that makes my hostess-heart happy.
