Entertaining Simplified :: Pizza and Beer

Entertaining Simplified :: Pizza and Beer

It's no secret that I love to entertain ... but that I also love to keep things simple. The most memorable part hosting friends or family is the company...not the two hours you spent in the kitchen (am I right?). One of my secrets to stress-free entertaining is to order in for part of the meal. Maybe it's the main course, or perhaps a store bought dessert –pick one part of your meal and agree not to make it yourself.

Entertaining Simplified :: Pizza and Beer

This weekend we had a few friends over for lunch and I decided to keep things really laid back and just serve pizza and beer. Pizza Hut just launched the "Flavor of Now" offering new ingredients and menu options so it was the perfect time to test them out. Their new options made it easy to create a pizza that felt a bit more unique than the typical. I chose from their selection of new bold sauces, crust options, and drizzles to create this crushed tomato and fresh spinach pizza that was on parmesan crust and topped with a great balsamic drizzle. Oh my goodness, YUM.

I also set out a variety of beers (my fridge always ends up with an eclectic mixture after we have guests over) and small beer tasting glasses. This way we could all taste test new beers while we enjoyed our lunch and conversation.

This lunch ended up being the perfect combo of easy, enjoyable, and flavorful. Thanks to Pizza Hut's easy online ordering and new flavorful menu, hosting was a breeze. I am also keeping this in mind for those crazy weeknights when I need to serve up something tasty in a snap.

Give Pizza Hut's all-new menu a try with 5 premium new ingredients, 6 bold new sauces and 10 amazing new crust flavors. Build your own creation now at PizzaHut.com.
