What Makes A Good Easter Cocktail?
If you're looking for a good Easter drink I think a few things have to me true. It needs to be colorful, light in taste, and have either an herbal, floral, or fruity flavor to it. I also love to include bubbles like prosecco, club soda, or sparkling water.
There are so many Easter cocktails that you can serve, but to make it simple, I'm sharing some of my favorite easy cocktail recipes with you.
1. Pink Bonnet
This recipe results in a pastel pink martini that could not be cuter! It takes a couple extra steps to make, but the color and taste are worth it!
2. Tangerine & Thyme Mimosa
This unique tangerine and thyme mimosa ends up on all my cocktail lists (from Thanksgiving cocktails to New Year's Eve cocktails)! The thyme makes it perfect for a fall cocktail while the tangerine tastes great in spring, too!
3. Blue Bonnet
This Blue Cottontail cocktail is bold in color and will be a crowd pleaser. The orange peel gives it just the right amount of citrus notes.
4. Rosé Spritzer
You can't go wrong with a rosé spritzer. This refreshing Easter cocktail is great for crowds and to serve at brunch because it's not very strong and is super easy to make. Keep your rosé chilled and on display with these DIY flower ice cubes.
5. Cucumber Gimlet
The cucumber mint gimlet is a country club staple makes a great Easter drink. The light, refreshing cocktail pairs well with any Easter meal you're serving.
6. Fresh Pineapple Margaritas
This original fresh pineapple margarita recipe includes jalapeño, but you can omit it if you want a tamer Easter drink. This cocktail recipe will take you from spring and right on through summer.
7. Brown Sugar Bourbon Cocktail
For those who prefer a bourbon based drink, this brown sugar bourbon cocktail just passes as an Easter cocktail. It's sweet but still bright because of the orange flavors.
8. Orange & Grapefruit Mocktail
If you're looking for a alcohol free Easter drink, try this easy recipe. Full of fresh flavors, these orange and grapefruit mocktails taste like spring in a glass!
More Easter Drinks
If you don't want to fuss over making a special Easter cocktail, here are some easier ideas for Easter drinks (both with and without alcohol):
- Serve a bottle of champagne, white wine, or rosè wine
- Lemonade (you can offer strawberry lemonade for that pretty pastel color)
- Water flavored with mint and cucumbers
- Peach or passion fruit flavored ice teas

Love the ideas. I saw this Easter-themed decor idea in the last issue of BHG that can be easily adopted for this purpose as well (it's originally for decorating with tea lights). Basically, wrap a skinny rubber band around a tumbler glass (you can buy rubber bands in all colors, including pretty pastels now) and tuck a single small bloom into the band. Just make sure to trim it short so it doesn't stick above the rim fo the glass.
