You know I love to keep things simple. That's why this recipe all began with a store-bought pack of shortbread cookies. That's right, no baking required (and no shame about that)!
All you have to do to make these indulgent treats is dip the cookies into melted dark chocolate and then sprinkle sweetened coconut flakes on top. But don't let the simplicity fool you, these babies taste so amazing!
No one will ever know you didn't bake them. So go ahead, save yourself the time (and dishes!).
- 1 package store-bought shortbread cookies
- 1 package dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
- Melt dark chocolate melting wafers as directed on package. Dip half of a cookie into the chocolate and place on wax paper. While the chocolate is still wet, top with coconut flakes. Let them dry and harden for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
