These DIY faux flower headbands are so easy to make! The entire project only took 10 minutes! It was a fun DIY to do with my teen.
If you've ever been curious how to make faux flower headbands, read on. This project was SUPER simple. My daughter Taylor and I whipped this DIY flower headband up in about 10 minutes flat.
Supplies you need for your flower headband
You only need a few inexpensive supplies for this project:
- Small faux flowers
- 1 yard of lace or ribbon at least ½" thick to use as your headband
- Scissors
- Glue gun + glue stick
How to make your headband
First, you'll need to trim off the little flowers from their stems.
Next, you'll attach the flowers to the lace using a little dab of hot glue.
(Tip: Before you start, wrap the lace around your head to make sure you glue the flowers on the right area).
Repeat! When you've secured your desired amount of flowers, you're done! We spaced ours about every ½" but you can do more or less depending on the look you'd like.
Then all you have to do is tie it around your head in a small bow and you're ready to rock this beauty. I love that you know can wear and re-wear this as often as you'd like.
