Bacon Beer Cheese Dip

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This bacon beer cheese dip will be your new go-to appetizer on game day! It's warm, cheesy, and full of flavor.

In my opinion, that's the perfect combo and a must-add to your favorite appetizer recipes. In fact, this might just tie with Hot Honey Fries as my favorite appetizer for football season.

Did I say bacon already? Cooked, chopped, amazing, bacon. Of course you can leave the bacon out if you're not into it.

cheesy dip with bacon

This beer cheese dip is the perfect combo of creamy, cheesy, and a little crunchy (thanks to the crumbled bacon on top).

I like using Kettle Brand chips for dipping because they are a bit thicker than your typical chip and have a great balance of salt and pepper which goes great with the richness of this dip.

Another great option for dipping would be torn pieces of sourdough bread or thick crackers.

You will definitely want to double-dip. But that's gross, so don't.

Will this hold up in a mini crockpot at a tailgate?

Hi! I don't think this is best in a crockpot because it finishes in the oven to give it a little crispy cheesy/bacon crust on the top that makes it delish.
