Paper Napkin Rings You Can Print at Home

I was still undecided about what napkin rings to use this year for my Thanksgiving table when I discovered this idea for paper napkin rings in a Ladies Home Journal magazine. I love ideas that are really easy to do and these were a perfect find.

Why I like These Easy Paper Napkin Rings

I love that you can make these at home without going and buying any supplies. It's as simple as printing them at home.

I saved the file and then re-opened it in Photoshop (but you could use any program you have). I wanted my rings printed on a white background so I used the paint bucket tool and changed all that beige color you see to white (worked like a charm).

Then, I typed in each guest's name and hit print–so simple! I chose to use all of the same design (the fourth one down) but you could even use a different design for each guest.

If you don't want to edit them you can print only.

For an alternate method (that's even easier), just print and write each person's name with a fine tip marker.

How to Use Paper Napkin Rings

Once you've printed out your napkin rings, cut them into long strips. Wrap each paper ring around a rolled napkin and secure with a piece of clear tape.

You can place your napkin on the center of the dinner plate or to the left of the plate.

If you're setting up a buffet and letting guests serve themselves, you can roll up the cutlery in the napkin and use the paper napkin ring to hold it all together. This is one of my go-to tips for setting up a buffet table.
