Even though I update on Instagram often, it's been sometime since I wrote here. So, a big wave hello to everyone! I'm sure like me, you just felt like 2020 was ... A LOT. So many feels, right?
We typically for a family photo every year for Christmas cards but we didn't have a chance this year. I decided to round up highlights from 2020 for our card this year. While it was mostly was boring, sometimes scary, and lots of other crap we’d like to forget–I wanted to be grateful for (and remember) the bright spots.
Some of our year highlights were:
-Sunday themed patio brunches (unofficially documented on Instagram)
-Socially distance camping adventures
-Dressing up the dog (and baby) for a random photoshoot series
-Reid’s FIRST birthday (I shared his Notorious BIG party here)!
We (like I am sure most of you!) had a small family Christmas at home, marked by matching jammies, a lot of lounging, and a TON of Hallmark movies (thank goodness for Hallmark!).
And although there's a lot of memories that will come from 2020 (including my entire family getting Covid–thankfully not very serious), we closed the year out on a high note.
We bought a house!
Well, in a weird twist of events, we bout "our house." We bought the rental home we've lived in for the last 12 years. We always saw this place as a pit stop until we could decide were to move, and the timing was right.
Turns, out the house picked us after all.
2020, you were WEIRD.
Over the years we've shared from home updates like an easy kitchen refresh and building a modern nursery but now we're ready to do the BIG stuff! I'm dreaming up a whole new pool yard, a new primary bathroom, and a new kitchen layout!
Stay tuned for a lot more home content. Also, let me know if there's anything you'd like me to share!
And most of all, thank you for reading and following a long.
Happy 2021! Stay safe, friends!
