Set Up An Appetizer Buffet Table

It seems like every time I am planing an event, I get stumped on party appetizer ideas (specifically appetizer display ideas). I end up on Pinterest wasting hours trying to find appetizers to make that are unique, flavorful, and easy. You know I love easy party food. But this idea takes it even further–setting up an appetizer buffet table!

How to Set Up An Appetizer Buffet

The first step is clearing a sideboard, buffet, or console table to use as your buffet table.

Next, I layer on a table runner and different serving pieces I'll be using for the appetizers. Just gather what you have at home–platters, cake stands, and cheese boards all work well. Don't be afraid to mix and match.

Tip: I love to pull out the drawer of my console table and use it to house napkins and appetizer plates. Guests can just grab what they need and I don't have to use precious space on top of the small table for these items.

How to Choose Party Appetizers to Serve

It's time to layer on the appetizers! I like to include a variety so guests can be sure to find something they'll like. The Harry & David Gourmet Collection has everything from savory to sweet which makes having a variety easy.
